So, for example, if your household owes $200,000, and you and your spouse bring in $100,000 as a team per year, your household debt-to-income ratio is 200%. Remember to use your minimum payments not the account balance or the amount you typically pay. Lower Your Debt Payments
For most people, attacking debt is the easier of the two solutions. Start off by making a list of everything you owe.
